basically im trying to fit new brake discs on a renault clio mk1 1.4 rt but the torx screws that hold the disc in place have snapped, i drilled the holes out from the disc to remove it, but in doin that the threads from the hub holes have been destroyed so i need to replace the hub if that is possible?? i assume they are removable, well i hope. the 27mm nut that holds the hub i took off with some effort, but cant seem to take the actual hub off (pieice beind the brake disc) does anyone know if can be removed?? or is this directly attached to the axle!???!!:shakehead

You really dont have to replace the "driving flange" just because you cant get the disc retaining studs out, the four wheel nuts are more than capable of holding the disc on. If you really must remove it use a slide hammer or hub puller, both will remove it but you may damange the wheel bearing in doing so (ie the center race of the outer race will attach itself the driving flange, in doing so it will take the bearing grease retaining seal with it, thus leaving it unusable it that condition . Its just not worth it, forget about the disc retaining screws, they do very little anyway.
