I have a 73 camero with a 396 in it. I do not want to change the engine since it runs fine. I want to covert it to a TPI setup. Is there any way to use a SBC TPI setup on this? Is there a intake manifold that will take the SBC tpi setup?
I would like to stick with a stock TPI if possible. I do not want to spend a bunch of $$$ on a holley or other aftermarket setup.
Any ideas????
Thanks!!

I think a stock TPI would starve your engine. I really don't think they were meant for anything over a 350. Just my :2cents: .

I second a stock TPI starving a 396. But if you really want to go that route, I found this: http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/tech-general-engine/270814-bbc-tpi.html?highlight=bbc+tpi+intake+manifold
