I have a 1996 Buick Regal that give me starting problems

my car do start but i have to hit underneat the dash on the passenger side,my car has what is call a pass key for security reason,i'm not sure why this happens.is it a way to get the security systems remove?:shakehead any information would be very helpful.again when i reach under the dash and shake the wires the car starts right up,
