Zetec engine, automatic

Intermittent problem started with stalling when shifting into reverse but could reverse if I increase rpm as i shifted into reverse and accelerated so engine would not stall.

Problem went away for a time , then there was a time when shifting into reverse resulted in a shuddering of the transmission while in reverse - no stalling.
Took it to dealer while it was acting this way and showed the service personnel.
Got it back next day and they said it was a piece of ice that was wedged between the tranny mount(or engine mount - not sure which) and the transmission. Problem went away after this.

A few weeks later the problem reappeared in the form of stalling when shifting into reverse except that it couldn't be overcome by giving it gas to increase rpm.I had to push the car backwards and then proceed normally in Drive. No other problem.
This condition lasted 2 days and seemed permanent but one morning i started it and everything was normal.

Most recently the vibration has reappeared in a mild shudder when in reverse.

I had Tranny oil/filter changed at 60K. This problem has occurred before and after the oil change.Temperatures have been very cold to warm.

If anybody can help me out with this, please let me know! :banghead:
