y do people think women cant drive!?!? i was at the movies with some friends and when it was over we piled into my supra and took off. on the way back, some guy in an RX7 started reving so we raced him and pretty much whooped his ass. i had my windows up and theyre tinted so as we drove past him i rolled my window down and his jaw dropped. anyways to make a long story short, i ended up pulling over to talk to him and he said that GIRLS CANT DRIVE SUPRAS!!!!!!! that pissed me off so bad so i started yelling at him and he said that he just isnt used to being beat by a girl. go figure. what the hell is up with this sterotype!! girls can race and drive fast cars too!! that shouldnt be such a suprising thing! to all those girls who have a passion for cars and love racing as much as i do- more power to ya!!:sun:

From experience GIRLS CAN RACE!!. Its true i have even had my ass handed to me by a few girls and am man enough to admit it. And i Think it is sexy when a hot girl is drivin a Fast car.

the stereotype you mentioned is more directed at women drivers who go 100 down the freeway while talking on the phone and putting there make-up on... all in an auto... (if you ask me i cant stand this type too)

no, seriously. whenever i hear about a chic getting a sports car, shes always like "i did 120mph on this road!!!" and all proud of it, thats damn well retarded. learn how to drive before you just push it to the floor and try to outtake other cars. not all women know this, and certainly not all men know this. women are usually more exestencial than men.

2jz's own..... no doubt about it. Are girls bad driver's? No not nessisarly although their are exception for example my friends sister can't drive to save her life...ok all I have to say is 2002 subaru WRX mangeld, she brought his car to school for him and wrecked it (twice on the way there) I see more girls that can't drive than I do that can. but as I said exception in each catagory... my ex and I used to get into constant debates and arguments tech wise with her, and half the time she won......:( Anyway she worked with my friends and I when building a crx for purpose of drag. After we were done building. She gave it a test run against yours truly b/c they figured we had equal or close to equal hp. Ookay, well, speaking from personal experiance, the reason a lot of guys think girls can't race is simple:
Every car show I go to, there's like, me and two other girls there that are actually there -for the cars-. The rest of the girls there are in little hot pants and tiiiiny tank tops flashing their !@#s around like they're Pammy Anderson's long lost sister.
And those girls make -us- look bad. In fact..
I was at one recently and two of them were trying to mack on my boyfriend. Bleach blonde, fake nails, whole nine. (no offense to bleachies, but these girls were NASTY). They saw his car (an RX7 with a killer kit) and like, locked target..
I stood there and listened to them flirt with half of my attention (the other half was directed on a niiiice Supra that my friend had brought down), and before long, I was about to smack the hell outta them.
So. (sorry for that long winded round about post). In conclusion: Some people think girls can't race because of racersluts.
And that tailgaiting/cell phone/makeup thing doesn't help either. :\

First off guys dont drive well only because we have a sausage between our legs. An if a chick wants, she can have sausage too.
Any Chick that can drive a M/T and has not wrecked 5+ times trying, is Good in my book.
There are not many profesional female racers, but there are alot of female Martial Artist. Females are Gracefull enough to Fight, then they are Gracefull enough to Race!! Hand and foot cordination and balance is the same, just applied differently.

when i was still going out with this girl, she wrecked her 1997 BMW 318ti trying to race, got it towed when she got caught racing, and also got let off with a warning for racing....on top of that she crashed the beamer 3 other times in the 14 months we dated and 2 times before that...
of course all girls are not like this, and the guy u raced in teh rx7 was prolly gay, because if i ever raced a supra, and then stopped to talk to find out it was a girl driving, the first thing out of my mouth would be "can i have your number?" even if i have a gf there with me...like he said fast cars + hot girls = :D

Well the only person who has actualy beat me on the sreet was a girl in a skyline. It was nuts. She was the hottest thing i had ever seen to. We ended up going out and we are ingaged to be married in June. And she still got the skyline(its an R34 V-Spec II). Shes from Japan and he dad is in the government and she had the car brought over to canada. As far as i know its the only one in BC well R34, ther is an R33 in vancouver somewhere:)

Supras rank in my top 3 with the Skyline and the Viper. I had a Mk.II(now scrapped) and bought a Mk.III the other day in what I call a perfect condition. I can honestly say that I lost to 4 or 5 girls and it has never bothered me. If a girl beats me it's all good. From a purely logical standpoint it would make sense for girls to be BETTER for racing than men. With a smaller frame, and generally less weight, they would have an advantage in the weight to horsepower field. AND, there are plenty of pro-racers who are women, even in hick-powered NASCAR, so STFU supraman411777.

Girls that streetrace are getting bigger and bigger, if you look at the girls that race in any competitive legal event there reaction times are most of the time better than the males. The males that I've seen drive better but the girls reaction is much better. I've never seen girls race formula 1 but there was a girl who raced in the winston cup for a few races but didn't have the skill at the time. I think it was Jackie Joyner who sponsered a winston cup team for a season with a female driver as well. Girls are getting to the point where they can drive just as well as most men on the streets, sometimes even better.

Some girls CAN race but most girls can't even drive!!! I'm talkin about the chinese girl who hit me behind a stop line, the one who passed a red light and hit my brand new 40k car and the sterotype 40 yrs old women with a kid on the passenger side who stick 10 cm from ur tail on a highway and r talkin on their cellphones really scare the shit out of me.

I have an older Supra, she needs paint and doesn't look like much. Most people have no idea what my car is, but I get a lot of looks from guys. Not the "damn what a piece of shit look", but the "whoa that chics driving a sporty stickshift".
One of my favorite street races: my car when it was stock vs. a riced out Eclipse with about 3 goofy teenage boys. They pulled next to me at a stoplight and looked over and laughed. Called me and the car ugly and blah blah blah. Then they started revving their little fart canned rice box, and I held mine at a steady 2,500rpm, watched the light turn yellow, launched with a noisy 2 wheel peel and as I barked into 2nd gear, they were at least a car length behind. I hit the brakes a little ways up to see the expressions on their faces as they passed me. They weren't grinning like retards anymore.

There are good drivers and shitty drivers, it doesn't matter if you're girl, boy, black, white, gay, hetero, whatever. There are morons everywhere.

I had a chance to drive a 400whp mkII the other day, I declined because I have the BALLS to admit when I am not ready for that kind of speed. Most peeps don't. They get into a high HP car and showing off, they wreck it. It's sad.

guys can be just as retarded. it's really hard to get a good scientific study on bad drivers. people lie of course. some areas have better drivers than others as well.

You know what the funny thing is. You guys are going to knock on female drivers, when you probably have not the faintest idea how to really drive yourself. MOST of you probably can't drift, can't launch your car, and can't change gears fast enough. Last time I checked, no one in here is a professional driver, nor have you ever had the chance to be a professional driver. Give credit where credit is due and before you go trying to say that women can't race, why not make sure your driving skills are completely up to par.

I recently had a bad experience with a female driver. I was trying to teach my gf how to drive a stick for the first time and she went off the road and hit a tree at 45. I'm not saying that all chicks can't drive I'm just a little iffy on the subject right now because that was 2 weeks ago.

ok here we go...my :2cents: , there are girls that can drive good, girls that can't, there are girls that can race good and haul ass and even drift good, then girls that just wish they could race good...but the exact same goes for guys...and owning a supra doesnt mean your a good driver or good racer, they are great race quality hell yeah, but i know a GUY that has a gorgeous 95 baltic blue 6spd tt bpu supra (its rare i know)...the best time he's ever ran is like a 9.2 in the 1/8th...this is just sad...seeing as i know a 02 se-r specv w/ just intake and exhaust that can run a 9.2...and i know supras can be bad ass...i helped a good friend of mine rebuild his 94 6spd tt to a sp63 single beast (the one in my av)...but i guess what im getting at is...girls that drive hella fine and fast cars...are sexy as hell...and any girls that drive hella fine and fast cars and know how to work on them.....will you marry me?! lol

It's all in the personality if the guy or girl is pushy and doesnt like to be wrong they are instantly a bad driver thats just the way it is. My opnion is that if its a girl racer, driving a hot car, its perfectly acceptable. Just think, the majority of the drifters that are extremely good are japanese men, who look like girls. So essentially, since girls are nice and featherlight, when they know how to drive, they can kick ass. I wish i had a hot little sports car so i could improve on my driving skills, but instead im driving a grannywagon (Buick Century). I bow to all people with a Supra.

id like to disagree i took a beat ass CRX dropped in a 00 gsr did some tein suspension and i would have to say its not fast but its quick all motor i put down some decent times and mph for a n/a engine. i havent lost to many n/a cars yet. and my BOY did run it at the track and i, as a girl, put down better times, and he is the one who pretty much taught me how to drive.
