me my wife and kids are stranded 250 miles from home our 95 bon 175 k 3800 when i put it in park rpms jumped up n down a lil then stalled.power windows didnt work rear defroster button turned my interior lights on and off i had 12.6 volts and no fault codes it crank and cranks but wont turn over.after awhile it started dont know how drove perfect no sign of problems.now it did it agin.please help thank you

ok ive done sum searching havent checked or tried anything but could this relate to a ground problem?if so can i just run a ground from engine to battery?if im way off trck please let me knoe im just desperatly searching

When it won't start you need to check for spark as it cranks over, at the plugs, basic diagnostics, if none suspect either the crank sensor or ignition module.

it does get spark but any sensor wouldnt explain the rest of the electrical system going brazirk

If you have spark and fuel pressure and injector pulse it should run regardless of the other issues, there is a ground junction under the carpet l/s outer sill area, this could if corroded, account for the symptoms also.

I had a similar problem with my 98 caravan, ended up being my alternator! Don't know if this helps, but it could be your problem too. Take the alternator to a autozone to be checked.

ive got a tester alt tests fine.maxwedge that ground cant actually stop it from runnin can it?

I believe that is the fuel pump ground.
