what should i do....

ok my ex-girlfriends best friend is fly as hell and i have had a thing for her for a while now - i never did anything about it before now - i feel stupid now b/c i think i could have probably had a good chance with her before - ok heres the thing - up until recently they have been just good friends and now all of a sudden the are the best of friends - my ex told me that she would be totally pissed if i talked to any of her friends - but i think that when a relationship is over it is over right??? - the girl feels the same way i do about it - so.. should i try going for it or leave the whole thing alone -

oh and it would effect there friendship too ... should i mess with breaking a friendship up over this whole thing

Just my own .02. If a relationship is over, anything is free game. And this is just me, but, fuck friends! You'll end up getting screwed in some form or another. Not being mean and all. Just stating a fact. I was never one to go for that, "Don't date my friends crap"! Why the hell not!! I'm not yours anymore, and unless you're a dyke, she's not either. Most of the time it's because they can't stand seeing you with someone they are cool with. Then again, if you're into that whole friends don't date friends thing, don't do it. If you value your friendship over your personal life, to each his own.:)
