some good old DSM love

while web suffing, i came across a 14b turbo from a 90 Eagle talon tsi all wheel drive, and at that point i E-mailed the guy and asked him if i could come up and look at the car. So i came to his house today about 45minute drive from philly, i got there and he popped the hood, everything was mint, so i aked him how many miles are on this car, he said 42,000miles, i asked him why's it got low miles, (becuase most have atleast 100,000miles, well comes to find out this guy was marryed to some ladie and he got the car for her son back in 1995, but i guess the kid turned out to be into drugs so he never gave the kid the car and it just sat outside (the frame started to rust).

so since the engine,tranny and everything eles was in 100% great shape i asked him how much he wanted for all the parts off the car,

well he gave me the engine,turbo,tranny,transfere case,all the wiring,all the interior, pretty much the whole car for 300$

so then i get home im feeling a little odd about this becuase its too good to be true so i ran a carfax on the car and everything he told me was the truth,

yeah i gave out some DSM love i gave some kid i dont even know a free transfere case for his car thats been sitting, now hes out and driving, i have no probs helping fellow DSMers out, i just hate civics and people who drive them
