Temp gauge

Hello. I have a 1989 buick Lesabre T-Type with an engine that I swapped in from an 90 Olds 88. The olds didn't have a temp guage on the dash like the old T-type engine did, so I currently have a loose wire dangling near my CTS. This wire is supposed to be screwed onto a stud (for lack of a better word) that is screwed into the intake manifold. Since the Olds didn't have the extra gauge, the manifold doesn't have the stud. I figured that since I've still got the old engine, I would just swap the manifolds.

I got the manifold off the old engine, but I'm having trouble with one metal hose that leads from the throttle body into the manifold. I have already pulled all the bolts out and started to split it apart and in doing so messed up the gasket so I just can't leave the old TB on.

What I would like to know is how do I get that stupid metal hose out? I cant seem to pry it loose and I don't want to use too much pressure on it for fear of it breaking apart, creating a bigger mess.

Any suggestions appreciated! :)
