$1000 for 1 pad and a single-input module? I dunno man, Hart Dynamics and Roland make some really nice pads at a fraction of the price.

yeah. these are overpriced for sure, but i'm guessing for a good reason, definitely aimed for the pro's in the business. its still a neat set, though.
on a side note, i might be picking up tabla once i get my next paycheck.

Right, I do agree that the technology is pretty impressive and it has by far the most sophisticated positional sensing of any e-pad. But it's just way overpriced for something that, in 5 years, will be standard technology for most e-drum pads.
