Just recently got a 91 celica 5th gen

i must admit it is deffinatly a pile...but its all i got for now and i am having some issues i do beleive

first time owning a celica so im not sure if its normal or not but i doubt it anyways

the car vibrates quite badly especially at idle mirrors shake dash board shakes hood shakes etc im thinking motor mount? or tranny mount? what do you guys think?

also the engine just recently had every top end gasket replaced and the head resurfaced

while im driving the engine makes a ticking noise i dont know if the valves or injectors are supposed to be loud in these cars or not but they are quite noticable in this engine but the main problem is while driving the engine will sound good but once i hit around 2,500 3,000 rpms the engine or something up front makes a really loud tapping/clicking/hitting noise i dont know what it is if i have the hood open and rev the engine the noise does not apear it only appears while driving and at certain rpms and it happens all the time its very consistant... i hope someone can help me out with this problem because if its a serious problem that sucks because this is my only car and i have to drive 20 miles to and from school everyday as well as deliver pizza for work so any help is appreciated

yeah check all the mounts and the car probably needs a major tune-up also....injectors are quite...ticking and tapping, i had the same problem with my 90 gts and they were the valves. either the valves are sticky bent or knocking. have those checked...thats all i can really say....well atleast those were the same problems i had with my car and i had it tacken care of....

I picked up a 91 too,,,mechanically im really lucky, but what brand brake rotors and pads do you reccomeend.

chekc to make sure its not just heat shield rattle, and yea massive vibration is most likely mounts
