Van suddenly died on the road

I'm looking for possibilities as to why my 1995 Ford Windstar suddenly died on the road. It had been running perfectly when I noticed loss of power. It was unresponsive to giving it more gas. One city block later the engine just cut out on me and won't restart. It cranks but won't turn over. No warning lights appeared on the dashboard before it lost power and stalled. There were no previous signs of impending problems. Any answers would be appreciated

Welcome to AF, but you need to post in the right forum. This section is for eclipse/talon/laser, not for minivans

Guys what are you talking about, we are totally Ford Windstar experts, especially of the year 1995. :shakehead

Did you check the gas guage?

Either that or you have a serious case of Forditis. Dr. Thor perscribes roughly a half gallon of gas and a lighter. Burn the bitch, claim insurance, and buy a not shitty car. :p

sorry to hear about your problems... I doubt very seriously we will be able to help you diagnose your problem. You should consider picking up a Service Manual from your local dealership if you plan on doing the repair work yourself, or take it to a trained Ford mechinac.

I posted a Ford question in the wrong thread probably because I am like Ford- I don't know what I'm doing. I'll repost in the right section
