This is one thing that is bothering me all the time, I hope that you guys that have in turbo or supercharger wil help me with that...Here is the qustion:

When you put in turbo or supercharger do you must reprograme CHIP in ecu or ther is no need to do that, cause I think that if you don't change the values in chip there is no efffect from turbo or superch. cause then when turbo gives you more air I think that it needs more gas too...Please HELP ME and try to answer my qustion...

do you need to Reprogram chip or No?

Thanx for all your answers you'll help me a lot with that

NO. With stock internals its ok but if you build it up its better if u reprogram it. If you reprogram it u got to get it tuned to its specs. My friend has a turbo Gsr and its running fine without the chipped ecu.:)

I noticed alot of times when you buy a supercharger or turbo kit, if there is anything electronic that means like adding more fuel/air, they usually give you a piggy back device of some sort to compensate for it. And if you make you own kit you can usally by those devices so your usually in good shape. But yea like mellowboy said USUALLY in most normal boosted applications you should be able to leave the ECU alone.
