It always helps to search the forum. Look for my post on "Install Doctor".Failing that search google, his site is very helpful.

i dont want to sound mean here.. but it doesnt seem like yoou read my post fully .. well thats what i think after searching.. for one this i couldnt find any post but urs above with you talking about install doctor.. so i searched the whole site.. well NON were anything close to my app... and i did point out that i bought the kit that SAYS its the right one.. but when i got to the plugs.. there all diff... and i tryed digging out some of the audio harness thinking maybe the right plug is deeper in.. which it isnt.. heck i couldnt even find the plug for the radio wire
basicly im asking for someone thats bought the plug for this same car.. or someone that can tell me what each wire is.. cuz the chiltons book i have doesnt tell wht each wire is..

Umm, Are you talking about the plug that comes to the tape deck/ tuner???? If your stereo is not the one piece, i believe that down under the glvoebox is a silver amplifier(well, the actuall stereo). (pre 96 im assuming?) thats were your wiring harness would go.
Hope that helps...

Believe it or not people DO help each other here, but being specific is important.
As tomi says,.....but to be quite honest I have difficuty understanding what your telling us.As you see this has all the pics for the regal. The only way to install any Stereo easy is with "2" adapters (I used Metra $10 ea.), and butt joints. In Regals case you HAVE TO use 10 inches of extension wire from amplifier under glove box to dash unit, which requires removal of trim below box(4 screws). It's all in the DR's site.
Btw I have installed it exactly as shown, and done other cars. This is the easier because of the location. Most cars you have to rip out console, even armrest, and parts of the dash.
Remember the "radio in dash" in regals is a "dummy", and is NOT removed. The actual radio is where I stated. The "New" unit goes where the cassette is/was

the plug you bought is probably correct but what you dont see is that this vehicle has a amp behind the glove compartment and this has to be removed then your plug would work
