If it isn't a MTX SHO Plus that has already had the vavle lash adjustment done for you than I would consider paying nearly $2k for a 1992 Taurus is very stupid imo.

I live in pa and this is 92 taurus GL with no rust and 4 newer tires on it. A local garage is selling it.
