after reading this i think im gonna stick with the 360 till the prices drop on the ps3.

I've heard a theory from various gaming forums that there's a 10 year rule for all companies. Nintendo had a good run for 10 years with their NES and SNES. Sony though came in and they had a good run with their PS1 and PS2 for about 10 years.

Times up and Sony loses this round. Either Nintendo re-takes the market or Microsoft takes over from here.

Same here.. dont care for wireless nor will I get a high def T.V. anytime soon, so the extra package isnt that important..

But think of all the idiots that stacked up a thousand bucks for an X-Box and then the 360. I think the PS3 will still be pretty successful. The graphics in gameplay just seem to dwarf the 360. Not to mention you also have a blu-ray dvd player. Those stand alones are going for a grand.

Not me buddy. I payed under $500 for my 360 and COD2. I had my system and the game I wanted so I was set. I didn't need to spend a thousand bucks for that.

Genius. Sony is forcing a new wave of console. Just like HD tvs. Sony owns the electronics area and they're forcing a change. Buy this, itll out do everything for awhile. I said before and they're doing it.

Well I found something new on the PS3.. aside from the money of course..

They changed back to their original dual shock looking controller, also they're going for black instead of silver..

Also it no longer rumbles and instead is tilt sensative, it isnt a copy of the Wii controller because it doesnt sense movement only tilt (Pitch, yaw, roll) The reason is because of the law suit which we all know about, if they keep using the rumble feature and such, court might have them not be able to bring out the Ps3 until the lawsuit is done with, so this is a smart move.

I don't think it looks good with that controller. But its a very dependable comfortable controller, so I wouldn't mind. But they should make a reciever that you plug in to the ps2 so that you can use that controller on the ps2 as well because it would be better than having a generic or logitech wireless controller.

But I was also looking at pictures of the ps3 on google and the silver one seems to have more ports for something on the back. Is the silver one the one thats gonna cost $700 and the black $500?

it aint bad, but the 2 new consoles will have something the 360 does not. will it matter? probably not. just a new toy. but who knows? let's wait and see.

only thing i didn't like about sony's were the controllers. i know, i know, they're the most basic, easiest to use, most versatile, blah blah, bs bs... reason i liked the xbox controller was the placement of the thumbstics. and how a controller feels is enough to sway a decision for me.

so is price, though, and $600 is reeetarded. fuck that, $400 is also retarded. i'll wait.

usually i drop whatever on these new consoles, but I think Sony may have crossed the line.

I'll get the Wii for sure and the 360 will have plenty for me to play this fall.
