Anyone replace their front / rear shocks in their Lexus - looking specifically for a 92 ES300 but other models may apply.
What shocks did you use? I'm looking at MacPherson Strut - gas charged.
Was this a PAIN - what to watch out for. Things to do first, next etc...?
How many hours did you spend on each?
Thanks,

It takes the experiance about 20-30min an wheel. The inexperianced should plan on 1-2 hours on the first wheel, then less on each other wheel.
KYB GR-2's are the OEM Camry / ES 300 / Windom suspension.
You should look at replacing the springs at the same time if at all possible. Also the strut mounts are generally shot. Both the struts, and the mounts can be found on ebay easy enough.
The better option is generally to buy 95-96 Camry struts & mounts, and make them fit as opposed to buying 92- october 94 Camry / ES struts & mounts.

Thanks for the response. What's involved with taking off and replacing the springs for this car?
I have a spring compressor and dismantled the front-end suspension on my sons 66 Nova when we restored it... anything special about the springs in a Lexus?

Nope. Mcphearson setups are nearly all the same. If you can do one, you can do another.
Download the '93 factory service manual, or buy a $20 haynes book.
