Resin Lightbar

Hi,

I just received a resin ligthbar to place on my model police cruiser. It has a yellowish-tint, is there a way to get rid of this yellow tint to make it clear instead?

Depends on if the yellow color is just on the surface from the mold.. or if it is the color of the resin.. if its on the surface you could get it off with a mild paint thinner/ acitone... what I found works really well to get things off plastic is nail polish remover.. use a q-tip so you dont use to much..
if its the resin.. I think you are stuck with the color... hope this helps

whoa, nail poliss remover is acetone, and acetone will make plastic melt. Check if it will melt your resin on the smallest possible area.

And i'm 2nd to removing paint from the surface.
