Is 240k Accord 91 worth any tunning

I have 91 Accord with some rust and 240k. It runs great, but I am not sure if it is worth to put any money in upgrade. I mean body kit and simple tunning ( < 3000$). Would it better to get a newer car?

I'd say no. The car itself isn't worth 3k. If it dies or gets in an accident, you've wasted your mod money. Plus with 240k, chances are it isn't in the best shape for engine modifications.

Not exactly sure what you were asking. But I'll try to go into more detail on what I meant concerning the value of the car.
Realize that you don't get much back for mods. If you spend the money on them, their are either A) put on the car forever because they replaced old stock parts B) Hard to resell for much $, and C) usually not insured.
Now granted, if this were a turbo or a nitrous kit, that's different. Those you can remove and sell later, and still make a decent amount of $ back. But most bolt-on modifications are in fact a waste of money (from a strictly financial standpoint).
So, if you are spending this money for mods, you want it to be money well spent. If you are going to invest the money into a car, why not invest it into a car that will last for awhile, or has higher value.
That way, one small problem or accident doesn't total the vehicle.
I modded my 90 Accord with 160k. After I tossed in $2,000 into mods, 3 months later I got a gas leak. That leak, paired with a few other minor problems, and all the upcoming maintaince (like new brakes and fluids) would have cost me more than the car was worth to me. So I took it off the road and sold it for parts. My $2,000 in mods didn't make me much money back, and was pretty much wasted.
So after that experience, I would say it's not worth it to mod your vehicle, because any small fender bender or any number of engine issues taht can develop at 240k, could cost more to fix than the car is worth.
