can anybody tell me what the tourqe value is for head bolts on a 1997 S-10 2.2 liter .

if you don't have your haynes manual handy, what are you doing messing with the heads???????? 46 ft/lbs for the long bolts, 43 ft/lbs for the short ones, and tighten all another 90 degrees with a torque angle gauge........ following the CORRECT torquing pattern.................. oh, and btw, get a haynes manual................

I think its alright to replace a head gasket with out a manual. I replaced tons of stuff with out manuals. But he did do the right thing asking for tourqe specs.
