A Few Questions

1.) How difficult is it changing the cold start valve/injector whichever you like to call it? I know mines needs to be changed, my starts in the morning are freaking horrible, but when the car is warm NO PROBLEM!! Could be the fuel filter too right?

2.)I'm shiftin along, and park in a parking lot. I try to back out, but I grind gears trying to go in reverse, and I mean BAD. I shift cleanly through all the other gears, but reverse will not shift clean. It won't always do this, it didn't do it at all yestarday, but no telling when it will happen again. I'm gonna change my manual transmission fluid (gear oil), becuase it may very well be as old as the car is lol. Anything else I should check as well?

3.) You think the junk yard might have some doors? Front and passenger side both need replacing.

4.) Someone give me some definite signs of a bad or decaying alternator, I'm gonna get it checked anyways, but give me some signs.

5.) Think I'll find some doors at a junk yard or something? (I know someone who has a third gen cely, not sure it's my exact year though, and it just sits in the same spot, I'm going to ask them what they going to do with it).

you should really join Celica-GTS.com forums, that's where most the 3rd gen guys are. Yea our cars are great junk yard parts users. Especially if you have power stuff, lots of stuff that still works and easy to swap =P. You can find all kinds of stuff you need at the junk yard for our years, if you doin't find it at first wait a week and go back you might see there are a ton of them one week and none another.
