Well, as a few of you seen, I've fired up a Mini Cooper project, and a large part of it is still shrowded in secrecy, so this thread will unveil all I've done up to this point. Enjoi.

Here's a nice shot, and yes, that is a Dodge Grille, I just like the look.

Here's the rear shot, you can see the fender flares I had to toss together for my wheels.

Here's the wheels, custom made TE37's, in power white, just need a new coat.

And here's the finale, my main point of pride, and from what I hear, it's what I've become know for doing, the motor. And yes, that does say Mitsubishi. :D

yeah all ur pics are too small. did u steal the grille off a dodge or you made it to look like a dodges? not really getting why you did the mitsu in a mini but wutever floats ur boat. (i would've stuck a v-8 or something in there) is this a maisto mini?

Damn! I was expecting VTEC for some reason...

Looks good, but I can't picture a good color for it yet...

I went with the Mistu motor because I had one sitting around I was tinkering with, so I just found a home for it, and yes, it's a Maisto.

Yeah, I'm kinda stumped on color too, at the moment I'm just perfecting the fender flares to keep those TE37's tucked in there, after I get those I'll post photos and slap some primer on it.

candy apple red w/matching roof and mirrors. so i think i know why you cut the hood up and made driver and passenger fenders, it is cuz maisto's version of the mini cooper has that large metal thing connecting the front bumper and the rest of the car under the stock engine plate? cuz if so then u made the fenders to take place of that metal thing that was connecting the front bumper and the rest of the car right?

Well, I didn't really understand much of what you said, but I get what you mean.
The factory front bumbper is trash, the hood is custom made allowing the lights to stay stationary, and the fenders are staying factory, I'm just putting a slight widebody over the wheels to allow them to tuck in nicely.
Hopefully I didn't just repeat what you said, and you get what I'm sayin.

^what i was saying is that on the maisto mini there is a huge metal thing that connects the stock front bumper w/ the rest of the body under the plastic plate. so i was just commenting that you cut that out and had to put stationary fenders in it's place.

I'm really sorry that I was away for so long, but my mother was in the hospital, and I've been working and visiting her, now that she's home, I can pick up on the Cooper.

On a good note, I have it all dis-assembled and ready for paint.
I'll post photos when I have it primed.

The wheels are a combo of two different wheels for the perfect fit on this car.
As for photos, I have no <#%@*&!%> clue where the hell my digital camera is, so I don't know when I'll be able to snap some photos, but the project is moving along, slowly, but surely. I'll get photos as soon as I can, even if I have to buy a new camera.
