I received a notice from Nissan saying because the dealership I purchased my car at was chosen to conduct "a special market test pricing and financing event". And they are in "desperate need to acquire several pre-owned 2002 Nissans in order to fulfill special used vehicle requests, ...would like to exchange your 2002 Nissan for any new 2002 Nissan car. With factory incentives and generous trade-in values, we feel confident that you can make this exchange with little or no out of pocket expense..."
Has anyone received a similar letter? Is this some dealers' ploy to get me to trade in my 2002 Maxima for another one so they can make more money? or is there something inherently wrong with my car, they want to secretly buy it back to avoid a fuss?(my maxima was subject to the
Translink recall/replacment 2 weeks earlier)
Thansks.

it's a ploy.... plan and simple.... the dealership can't make enuff money off selling your car to justify giving you a new one.... it's real simple
