stripping pre-painted Fujimi Wheels.

what will strip the pre-painted gold paint on the wheels of the Fujimi 06 WRX. I'm gonna use them on another project but I don't want them gold.

Clorox or brake fluid.:)

becouse i'm gonna Alchad crome them and I want to make sure the serface is perfect.

try 90% isopropyl alcohol. dunno with pure acetone though, might be too much and eat the plastic.

Acetone is a no-no!! :eek:
Oven cleaner or any of the other options stated before might do the trick.
