ok so im driving down the road with my buddy , and a 1st gen catches our eye... we stop and notice the price is only $795. I AM AMAZED! .. i am about to pull cash out of my pocket ... look at the back ... it says GSX in white letters on the back.. i get even more excited ... look inside .. ITS MANUAL... look at the dash ... see a boost gauge in the speedo... i am very very very eager to buy this thing right there... then i decide to pop the hood .... :( .. 1.8l non turbo motor... i cried .. got back in my car .. and went home... was confused for next week how this could have happened to me.. but now im over it

Such a shame. It should be illegal to let someone get their hopes up like that :nono:

Swapped in the turbo gauges. Thats a shame:shakehead

You should call the guy thats selling the car if he had a phone # listed and ask him why he thinks it's a GSX.

If was me I pull out the gun and shoot the engine. and even the owner . j/k ( play too much GTA )

I'd yank his chane a little, call him up and ask him a bunch of questions like wha turbo is on his car and things like that and see if he tries to make stuff up

BTW how the F*ck can you pop the hood ? the car unlock ? man I drove that thing down the clip.

did you check under the back for the rear diff? maybe the motor blew and they swapped in the 1.8 motor ?
