obx hgeaders?

just wonderin how u guys think the obx(only max headers i can find) will sound wit my stillen y pipe and greddy cat back right now i really love my sound but i dunno if these headers will make me sound ricie or too high pitched let me kno if anyone knows the how it sounds:smoker2:

The OBX headers are not out yet. They will take around 13 hours for an experienced mechanic to install, and so far, the only two people who have tried headers have not gained but about 1hp, so I don't think they are worth it, unless you are pushing some serious HP numbers... Stick with the Y-pipe, CAI catback.

OBX has been getting bad reviews. I wouldn't get them until there is proven charts on how they do. They are known for lose of HP on cars like the Integra GSR. There seems to be a big dip in there test done by Honda Tunning mag. I hear that they have the same affect on 2nd gen eclipses

people say headers are useless for maxima's. Don't even bother into looking into it. :flamer: :eek:

I don't know, but my friend 95 maxima was very freaking fast with headers, but only at top RPM's, but that is the nature of headers, so no complain here.

BTW, I just order the OBX headers for my TL(same as av6) $340 shipped. I'm pretty sure it doesn't take 13 hours, but more like 2-6 hours depeding on what tools/location of install/skills.

The y-pipe is THE header mod for the Maxima. THere is no other way to go.
