1995 Ford Explorer Problems

Hi,
1995 Ford Explorer, 4 door, 4.0L, 4WD. Fuel pump went bad, had fuel pump replaced. Ran allright for a little, now it is hard to start, got to push her down to the floor, engine idles at about 650-750RPM. Sometimes she will shutoff at stoplights. Fuelpump is working. IAC Valve??? Thanks

IAC valve is a good possibility. Also was the fuel filter changed when the pump was installed? If not, there may be more debris that has been pumped from the tank to the filter.

Yes, we replaced the fuel filter in the Explorer when the fuel pump was replaced. I am going to pick up a IAC valve on Tue. when I get into town. Thanks
