Sorry to bring a problem to this forum not related to the blazer, but I am trying to help a freind whom is expecting a ne baby and dont have a lot of cash. He has a ford escort with a bad cam shaft sensor and evap valve. My questin is can either of these sensors be cleaned or do they just have to be replaced.

I tried to find this info out on the ford forum but no one there could answer me.
Thanks for any help, and sorry to post here about a Ford

My guess would be they have to be replaced. But I am no expert

I also believe that they have to be replaced. But again I really don't know.

Your best bet is go to the library and look it up in an escort manual.
Also try the Mazda 323 forum, and the Mazda Protoge forum. They're basicly the sae cars wih a different body (Don't mention Ford on them though, act like it's a Mazda)
