the 1 place i thought the thermostat was (front of engine block on the right) in a mk3 golf gti. i took the thing off yesterday 2 change it and i was clearly wrong! ive lost my haynes manual so could some1 plz let me know!

what engine?
2.0 thermostat is behind the waterpump.

2.8vr6 its inside the coolant flange under next to coil pack
