i wanna buy a engine harness for my car when i get my b18a but i want my harness wired so i can use a b16a. this might be confusing

i need to know if i buy one of those conversion things, dx to b16a, will all the connectors fit on my b18a

which leads to my other question are the b16a and the b18a wire connectors the same throughout the engine. so like if i buy that dx to b16a wiring harness, will my b18a hook right up to it ?

also do you know if it does work, could i use my b18a ecu on the b16a engine wirness.

any info would be helpful
plz tell me if i am not making any sense

Yes its similar , but the only difference is that the b16 has 4 more wires for the v-tec and such.

ok...DX to SiR wiring conversion will work for both vtec and non vtec B series motors running non obd, with extra plugs for Vtec solenoid and couple more for knock sensor etc...Mellowboy is right. Your PR4 ecu for LS will work but will need to replace it with a PR3 or PWO if you decide to run Vtec (ls-vtec). You will need to replace your distributor to a 1st gen vtec too...unless you're putting in a whole engine.:flash:

If you will do an ls/vtec then you need to use your b16 distributor (first gen)...91 LS distributor and plugs for the LS. Good enough?
