this is my latest project, the tamiya lancer evo 6. it was an ok build, but some parts did not fit well. color was testors french blue.

Nice Evo 6!, i actually have one of these in progress pearl white. hope it comes out clean like this

did you use putty on the bumpers and fenders?:O

i screwed up 2 tamiya evo vi and ended up building fujimi instead

paint looks a bit heavy.
have you tried given the clear parts a sand to get them to sit better?

yah, i sanded down the lights, but they still didn't fit, and they were too small on the sides. the paint was really thick, ill never use testors again. i puttied the front bumper on, but i should have cut it down a bit more. atleast ill know for next time

how did the fujimi parts fit? better than the tamiya?

looking at the clear parts, it looks to me like it is the top and bottom that need to be sanded more as it looks like the whole thing can be pushed back more than you've already got them.

i sanded them a bit, but i probably should have done a bit more. i think ill take them off and try to fix it.
