94 altima

Hey I just bought a 94 altima with a blown engine.I am looking at a 97 engine (but made in 96).I heard i will have to change a few things does anyone know what they are.

Look at each sensor electrical connection. The 94 throttle body is supposed to be slightly larger than 96-97. Inspect the intake manifold gasket around #4 runner. Consider how much easier it will be to torque the intake manifold bolts or replace the gasket while the engine is out compared to installed.

Hey I just bought a 94 altima with a blown engine.I am looking at a 97 engine (but made in 96).I heard i will have to change a few things does anyone know what they are. dont forget the 94 does not have the OBD11 system as the 95 and newer ones do . I just put a 95 engine into a 94 and have some electrical problems that may or not be related and had to change the exhaust manifold. Everything pugs up the same except the knock sensor and crank position sensor. The 94 harness does not have a conection for these.
