Si vs. VTEC

What are the major differences between a Si and VTec Prelude motor wise? I'm looking into getting a 94-96 Prelude but most of the VTecs I find have a lot of miles on them or they're already moded up.

what's wrong with high miles or modded?? If the car is clean, the the engine checked out, do a compression test, just make sure it is stong. maybe it was well taken care of for all those miles, as compared to a car that has been beaten and has low miles.

Whats wrong with an already modded car?

VTEC-----190hp, 2.2 L, 158 torque
Si---------160hp, 2.3 L, 156 torque
