SlowproceSS vs my roommates 02 TA

This was our last pass of the day. Car ran consistant just about every pass, with the exception of one 13.00 pass.

My stats are 00 camaro ss, whisper lid, cutout, and nx 75 wet shot

His stats are 02 TA, 3.73 gears, hypertech, cutout, slp lid, et streets, bmr rear suspension work(various things), strut tower brace, and an nx 100 wet shot.

I know what everyone is thinking.....no way I should beat this car. I totally agree, but it does help to Light his ass as bad as I did. Other than that, it doesn't make since that the results are as follows........

Absolutely.... :grinyes: This is his first v8 car, and more importantly his first track visit on both slicks and nitrous. I was having problems with my lights that day (first pass was a .540 pretty good, but the others I was redlighting BARELY). I stuck it out a tad longer than I had planned on the last pass, but I really wanted to have a clean run with him and I knew he was going to sleep at the tree. It made for a good run, but he should be waxing me pretty bad with his setup. :banghead:

One thing, though.....I can already tell this car is going to be a hell of a street car.

Looks like your buddy is really green on the track. His car isn't trapping as high as it should IMO. With a 100 wet shot he should be trapping around 113mph.

You're absolutely right. Funny thing is, he put on the kit while I was on the way to the coast. I had no idea he was spraying it, so I thought he was really running good with a 13 flat on motor. :grinyes: When I saw his nitrous setup and he told me it was a 100 shot, I was like :shakehead .

That's Hubcity in Hattiesburg, MS. It's a really nice track and it was biting back that day. :grinyes:
