The little fake window on the b-pillar on my car is all clouded up. It seems to be a cronic problem among 3/s's. Is there any way to fix it?
Also, it seems the first owner tried to cover scratches with black touch-up paint but it comes off more as a purple. If I ran a buffer over it would the touch-up paint come off?

you can get the '99 sail panels and get rid of it all together.
Mine were cloudy and dull too, so i rubbed the hell out of them with some armor-all and a terrycloth rag (I dont know what i was thinking either). It did help though. They are less faded looking and not stained-looking like they were.
As for the touch-up paint...i dont know. Thinner should take it off, but im not sure what the panels made out of, and it may damage it. See what others say before taking my advice. Possibley some sort of rubbing compound?

I'd ask in the 'auto detailing' section under 'cars in general' They should be able to give you the best way to do it.
Don't just rub a buffer over it. I have a feeling, it will be something like, paint thinner, wash, new touchup paint, wetsand, buff, polish, wax. Although I'm not 100%, so ask the experts.

Thanks, I'll check out that back-to-black stuff. I'll go over to the detailing section too and see what I can find out there.
