IS200 as a first car

hi,
i was wondering whether it would be good to have a Lexus IS200 for a first car. would it be expensive to maintain and are there engines good and do they last long

If you can afford it, I don't see why it wouldn't be a good first car. But if you have to ask if you can afford it, you probably can't. Even if you can afford the initial investment, the insurance costs would be pretty high. Maintenence shouldn't be higher than average, but if it does break down it will cost more to fix than most cars. Although Lexuses are known for their reliability.
