Info Needed for '80s MR2?????

I'm thinking of buying, and I know next to nothing about...can you all give me some info on them?????

Well, I own a 85 MR2 SC....and personally, I love it. Fun little car to drive....although if you're looking to make your car more suitable for street racing and such I would buy a MKII style, there is so much more you can do to it....but on a different note the '80's' style MR2 like you put it is lighter which helps a bit....if you buy an N/A i believe it's only equipped with around 115 HP's or so.....SC is 145HP, and I'm not sure about turbo's. As for my personal opinion I would buy an 85-89...there aren't nearly as many running around the streets as there are 90-96....so you're a little more unique in that sense....plus there a lot cheaper :D
