anyone know stock speaker size for front and rear on a FC?

rears are... 6 and a 1/2 rounds fronts are some preamped peice of garbage. with a little bit of work you can stick a 6x9 up front if I remember correctly, the stock thing that come out is about the same size. why?

Ohh yeah. I am fairly sure they are 61/2's in the back as my 51/4's are almost too small for back there

Cut the speaker incloser and set an 8" in it, just reseal the lower section near the strut to keep anything from getting up into the speaker.

just put a 15 in the back and say hell with it.....

We've done that, it just lacks sound. So we put 2 12's back there.. 2 51/4 components... and yeah sa set of 6x9 coaxils. That basicaly did the sound fairly nice...

i dont care about my sound system that much (ie no subs)

i'm just going to replace the stock shit with newer stuff

by the way when you say front, do you mean the door or the ones under the dash

The ones under the dash. You can/should beable to replace them with 6x9's might have to do a little fancy work but that's just the way somethings have been.

take out stock speaker. Test fit 6x9 cut anything needed to be cut, create a little box/sealed enclosure for it.
