Pads for drilled & slotted rotors

I just ordered 2 drilled & slotted rotors from JC Whitney. Have been through the OEMs & 2 Autozone rotors that all warped in the Arizona heat.

The JCWs were 69.99 each with free shipping if ordered today (US mail 7-10 biz days). Make sure you enter the special offer code if you do that.

Anyway, my pads are only about a year old so should have more than the minimum left. The current rotors have warped again & I was wondering if that also misshapes the pads & if they could potentially warp my coming rotors.

Should I just eat another $25 at Autozone for the lifetime carbon metallics or will the new rotors reshape the pads if they have warpage?

I am hessitant to get the ceramics as I have been told that they generate more heat than carbon metallics. Don't need that even if they do stop quicker.

thanks for any help you can offer.

Replace the Pads.
Not worth ruining the new rotors and you will have it apart anyway.
