Idle Curve

I recently bought a 95 mustang gt, standard, with 75k miles. Everything is fine except it has a strange idle. Whenever Im "moving" and push the clutch in, it revs to about 2 grand until the car comes to a stop, while still in neutral, and then it finally revs down to about 1100. As soon as I start moving and then put it back in neutral, revs to about 2 grand again. It has a bbk intake, bbk 70mm throttle body and i believe a 77mm mass air sensor. Someone told me it could be the idle curve needs tweeking...? Any one have ne ideas? Does any1 know how to adjust the idle curve?
By the way, I took the IAC valve off and cleaned it with carb cleaner, cleaned the throttle body and everything. Same still.

Since your car has a new throttle body this probably isnt the problem but its something to rule out anyways. My '90 F-150 did kinda the same thing for a while. After I would touch the gas just the least little amount it would high idle (~2000rpms). Also sometimes I could be going down the road and put it in neutral when going down a long hill to save gas and it would start to rev higher, just like my foot was on the gas. At times it got to about 4500 rpms. It wouldnt idle down until I revved the hell out of it. It ended up being my throttle body return spring would get hung up, so the butterfly baffle in the throttle body would stay open just like if my foot was on the gas. I changed out the throttle body and throttle cable, now its fine. I had to change the cable because the spring on the cable in these trucks runs over a "plastic tube" and the tube was cracked from dry-rot and was holding that spring as well.

Reset the computer and make sure the throttle blade isn't catching on anything.
Disconnect the battery(both terminals) most people say to let it set 2 hours but I would let it set over night. Hook the battery up and start the car in neutral with everything off and do not hit the gas. Let the car idle for 20-30mins.

To reset the computer, overnight is a waste of time.
Unhook the batt, turn the key on, then back off (or push the brake pedal and hold for a few seconds if that trips your trigger).
Hook the battery back up. As long as your radio presets are reset, so will the KAM.
Hanging idle issues can be caused by improper MAF calibration, bad 02 sensors, or some other small things.
To set the base idle: with car off, unplug the IAC. Start the car. Set idle to where you want it with the screw on the TB, then plug the IAC back in.

I reset the computer. Checked the spring on the throttle body and made sure the butterfly was clean. Same thing. It even revved up to 2200 once. Highest yet. The base idle is a little high, but im not as concerned with that...yet anyways. Any more ideas? The mass air is calibrated at 19c. Atleast thats whats written on the outside. Is there ne1 who can look at it without charging an arm and leg??

theres no check engine light, so i dont think its the o2 sensors.

1 ok, this is a shot in the dark.you replaced the throttle body w/a bbk.is it possible the throttle cable is just a little bit to short for the new one.2 the engine rocks depending on how much fuel it gets, when you shove the clutch in you take all the torque (pressure) off the motor mount, have someone watch as you gun it a couple of times, you can even feel it sit back down eg(thump), if it has a broke motor mount. the throttle cable may be binding up somewhere on the engine.

The lever that connects to the throttle cable hits the stop point on the throttle body, so it seems to be long enough. Also, it does rev down after I come to a Complete Stop, thats what is so weird. I revved it up from under the hood and the motor doesnt move ( I had a f-150 with a broke mount, so I know what your talking about). Thank ya'll so much for the ideas, please keep them coming.

the housing for the MAF isnt stock either, its a lot bigger. Would this affect the idle at all?

it shouldnt, is it an aftermkt maf? if you used a 70mm from another ford you need to put your original tube in place.

oops, ok i see you have a bbk, i think you should try putting the original maf tube in & see if this works,or just put the stock unit back on 4 now.

I bought it with the aftermarket on it, so Im going junkyarding tom to find a stock tube for the maf. I'll let ya know what happens!
