Im almost 100 percent sure this will work but i want some ideas to make sure i havent missed anything.
Iv got a mercedes Supercharger im putting on my Celica gt 1990. Its small so im sure it will fit and its good for 6-8 psi.
Im going to take off the ac compressor and everything with it to make space and drop the alternator to where it was. The im going to have a machine shop make make mounts to put the supercharger where the alternator used to be.
Now... Assumming this will work. What will i need to make it safe? I know superchargers are safer than turbos but will i need better pistons or anything to make it stronger?
Im not a fabricator or anything but how the idea came about is.. I got the supercharger for FREE! and he made it fit on his ford ranger 4 banger and it worked great until her broke the crappy mounts. So i know if i can get it mounted it will work on my car.
Thanks for any help.

i dont think its worth the time, its from of of those late 80's early 90 mercedes isnt it? i doubt youd see any more then 40 hp and it would cost alot, just go turbo
is it centrifigal or roots? if its roots dont wast your time, if its centrifugal then id say go for it, itl be a bitch getting all the right stuff but would probably be less than $1000
