anybody know what modifications must be made to an 83 el camino hood to fit on an 85 caprice? if it could be done at all?

It cannot be done. It's too small and nothing lines up.

yeah the proportions are way different, why do you want to do it anyway?

The El Caminos were considered "mid-size G body platform" cars, while the Caprices/Impalas were "full-size B body platform" vehicles.

Nothing a little J-B Weld couldn't fix right up....
