Daily driver getting alittle faster.....

Put on a 75 shot on the daily driver SS this weekend. Car went 12.7@111 on the Dayton street tires. Not too shabby I guess. 60ft was a 2.0 spinning a fair amount. My buddy got a vid of it vs my roommates 02 trans am with tune, gears, lid, cutout, et streets, and a 100 shot. I couldn't believe the little camaro drug his ass. He has alot of learning when it comes to driving that car. That car should run 11s. Plus reaction time was nice all day, except for my one redlight(.489). I can't wait to see what this car will do with a few bolt ons and a nice street cam. :naughty:

Slow-p, bro what kit are you using?
I wanted to save up and get some mods and was thinking foced induction like a Maggie SC but the more I research the more I think its easier to get a juice kit for 1K then to get a maggie for like 5.

also the fact that an SC or cams and heads would mean more power all the time which means less engine life. With the no2 I could turn the power on and off.

also how safe is no2? I havent used it since like 96 when it was very primative and I blew 2 4G63s. I know times have changed and kits have evolved lightyears since but still Im a bit skeptical. I mean ive seen nitrous not burn fully and stick to cylinder walls and over a years time that will just turn you walls to swiss cheese. ive also seen them burn holes through pistons. Whats the risk factor with moder kits like?

Nice times. Is it an A4? If it ain't you must be hella good with a stick to pull off that 60' time on street tires.

The car is an A4. Only reason I went with an A4 is because I love a cam/heads setup with a good loose converter for the future.

Musashi3000GT- I'm using a basic NX efi kit with iceman noids and a pirahna nozzle. I'm starting a new thread with some pics of our ghetto install(done late at night when a few buddies of mine talked me into it). I normally use a window switch and a wide open switch, but since this was a temporary situation(at the time) and the shot was so small, I simply went off of a button. NX is really one of the only brands I trust as far as nitrous goes. I've got tons of friends running their kits(and more than enough bottles has passed through the truck), and we've all had zero problems out of them. With all of the safety features available for nitrous, its almost impossible to beat dollar for dollar.

A video of my 12.74 pass is in another thread.
