Aluminum Housing for Intake!!!!

:) Ok peep's I decided once I get my Stealin intake from Luke (mailed the money order btw on monday Luke) I am going to make an aluminum housing around it to help keep the heat away from it from the engine also I will make an are for an inlet tube that will come from the outside not sure wich way I am going to run it but it will be in the works starting as soon as I receive the intake.

I will try to make it a full inclosure so it will not get wet or heat.

If anybody has any comments to the pros and cons about what I am about to experiment with let me know, I have seen this done to a moded out jetta of an old freind.

I might line the exterior or the interior with some type of insulation to cut the heat (?).
