New throttle body help

I just got a large bore throttle body. The problem is that my old throttle body had a line that connected it to a "map" sensor on the firewall. My new throttle body doesn't have the needle thing that the tube connected to. Do I need it, or can I just plug the inlet so the "map" sensor doesn't get any air from the throttle body.
