I have a 98 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4l that is the cause of great anxiety due to the inability of getting the key to turn to start my car. It seems I have a defective ignition key cylinder. I've tried pressing down on the brake while wiggling the steering wheel side to side while turning the key and it works...after 5 agonizing minutes or so!! I've also tried spraying some WD-40 into the cylinder in hopes of a tumbler or two are frozen, but without any luck .My problem is finding any kind of useful information regarding replacement of it. There has to be a step by step walkthrough or something of the like SOMEWHERE on the web. If possible a printout of what the FSM says would be superb! I know someone has it...Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.:banghead:
