1990 Lasabre Rubber Burning

My Son Has A 1990 Lasabre That Is Once Again Experiencing An Extremly Hot Right Front Tire And Rubber Burning Smell. He Recently Had A Flat In Which The Hub Cap Had Melted And Fused To The Tire. The Tire Shop Replaced The Tire And Stated That The Braking System Was Ok, And Working Properly. Did They Miss Something,? Or Could Their Be Another Problem They Did Not Notice. I Am Assuming That By The Time They Inspected The System Everything Had Cooled Down And Seemed Normal.

Sounds like you do, in my opinion, have a brake problem. Maybe in that wheel a brake caliper could be sticking, or the brake hose collapsed.
