It Popps when I take off pop pop pop?

I just bought the Bravada and I love it, Didn't pay much for it at all so I was not surprised when it started popping when I accelerate forward or reverse in any gear. Does any one have any ideas? I thought maybe U joints? Please give me your opinions. ASAP :2cents:

Check the front suspension and esp the CV axles.

take it in to your favorite tire store for an oil change and tire rotation. they'll inspect the front end as a matter of course while on the lift, to see if they can find any problems they can use to jack up your bill. if they do find something wrong, ask if it's an immediate safty issue and if not post the problem here. cost: about $30 to $50.

or you could take it to an independant shop that does used car or safety inspections. they actually have a check list and do a pretty thourgh job, but again decline any repairs that are not an immediate safety issue and post them here. if you have an AAA membership check with them for a list of inspection centers. cost: $100 to $200

A co-worker had a pop-pop-pop in his Honda frontend while making a turn...I grabbed and shook the passenger side CV joint and it was real loose. After he had both fronts replaced, the noise quit.
