1969 mustang steering

I recently put a new motor in my 1969 mustang, same block just a stroker, and went to rebuild by steering as long as i had the motor out. I converted from power to manual with the adapter, and all was well, until i went to put the motor in. The oil pan is deeper than the old one, and now the centerlink hits on the oil pan and i had to disconnect it. Is there another type of centerlink somewhere that is bent to make clearance for the oil sump? This is the first ive heard of this one so any help would be appreciated.
