I raced and it wassnt no cop this time. :icon16:

Frist run: Im comming home and Im boocking it cause we had to go to the movies with some friends and i had to go pick up my wife. Im comming down the turnpike and I see a red Bimmer up ahead weaving in and out through traffic. The driver was very controlled though, not cutting anyone off nasty or nothing but still manuvering at about 30mph over everyone else.
So you know, penis envy kicks in and Im like "oh you think your fast? shit wait till you get aload of me."
I pull up right behind the BMW 530 and flash my lights twice. The driver goes wide to the next lane over and goes WOT, I drop to 5th from about 90mph and jump right pass the bimmer, go to a buck-ten, buck-twenty, buck-thirty and Im about 5 cars ahead now. I pull back and wait for the bimmer to catch up so I could give em a thumbs up........holly crap, the driver was this amazing looking hot little blonde chick.
She laughing her head off and lowers her window and shouts "awwww, you asshole! you ruined my pefect run!"
she smiles and sticks her tounge out at me and goes WOT again past me. ooohhhh baby, didnt your mom ever tell you not to stick out your tounge unless your gonna use it? :naughty:

next run: me best friend sold me out and went to see MI:III without me so I was burned and went home. on the way a red firebird passes me and starts racing a Saab 2.0T. the Saab smokes him three times till the ref in the bird just calls quits and goes off on another road. I get to the light next to the Saab and again, its a woman. This lady must have been in her mid 30s and had her 5-8 yearold son in the passenger seat.
My wife is like "oh she want to race you"
me: cool I like Saabs, they taste great as a midnight snack.
plus the kid will get a kick out of it.
light goes green and the lady pulls a fast one on me, rather then taking off she hangs a quick right turn. I take off right after her except Im now like 3 cars behind her going into second gear. No biggie I pull up to red line and pass her as im shifting into 3rd, keep pulling till im about 5 cars in front and go easy into 4th.
at the next light the kid was pissed off and giving me the evil eye, but the mom was freaking laughing and giving me a thumbs up......not what I expected but eh.

and on the beach I chased a Ford GT for a mile just to have the pleasure but allas it was an old guy with shy shoes.
I keep my camera in the car for when I run into some more Austin Martins or Bently Continental GTs like I did in the 3000GT. :evillol:

Good kills. You need to find more suitable prey, like a Mach 1 Mustang/ 03 Cobra, or an LS1 F Body. The cars you ran aren't worth getting busted for, IMO. Then again it is all in fun.

i dont think itd be a bad race, but you have to remember that the 03 cobra is vastly underrated.

dont those 03 cobras have like a 12.8-13.0 stock 1/4 mile?

yeah but 1 12.8-13.0 stock compared to a 13.2-13.4 on the gto is pretty much a driver race. An early shift or a late shift on the cobra and it's game over for it assuming the gto driver shifts it almost perfectly.

It would be a massacre, I'm sorry. The Cobra has much more power and much more torque and also weighs less. 12.9 is about an average time. The thing about the Cobra is that all it's torque combined with IRS, makes the car very hard to launch. So with equal drivers the Cobra would slaughter the GTO, assuming both were stock.

I don't think Ford is going to underrate it, atleast not much. The reason they underrated the 03/04 Cobra's is because of insurance purposes, if it was rated at what it actually put out, the insurance on the car would have gone up a considerable amount.

'03-'04 cobras may do 12.9-low 13's stock but that's cause of traction. They trap 112mph-115mph which is low 12's with some traction.

dont get your hopes up about the new GT500 Mustangs, they are limiting production to i think 2,000 a year. So expect them to be in very high demand and expect to see very few on the road.

An 03/04 Cobra should kill Mushashi's car. They're a bitch to launch, but when you're kicking out 20whp more and weigh 100lbs. less, it's kinda hard to lose. That combined with the fact that mild bolt ons add alot of power to the Cobra. Heck a CAI alone is worth like 15whp.

If you look at a Cobra in the right light, it adds power.

I've heard in some cases, that dudes who take their cars to Car shows, go home with about 60whp more than when they got there...

They take to mods extremely well... it's almost unfair... almost... heheh.

I dont plan on much mods. I wanted to get an SC but shit! those things make so much hp that it'll cut down my engines life in half!
Id have to do an overhaul before I get to 80K miles.
no I think I'll just get some nice looking headers, a magnaflow exhaust kit and dyno tune.
I dont care much about making the Goat fast since it'll be my daily. The Starion Im building will be faster anyway, good to run mid to high 11's I think.

With I/H/E, he might have a slight advantage over a stock Cobra. But when was the last time you actually saw a stock SC Cobra? With bolt-ons pully and a tune, the Cobra is looking at 500WHP.

Cobra motor is dohc, gt is not, Cobra is 4v, GT is 2v, the cobra motor is built tough, ive heard they can take 1000rwhp without any internal upgrades.

ive heard the same stuff. also, the cobra has IRS. some people like that aspect, some dont. it is rated at 390bhp stock, but it is underrated by a good margin.

Cobras are awesome. I saw some dickhead getting on it in a parking lot right in front of the stores. I said out loud so everyone could hear me, "that's a nice car. Too bad the owner is a dipshit." I almost got a round of applause from the near by families holding their kid's hands firmly as not to wander in front of said dipshit. :disappoin:
